IS RECHARGING HER BATTERIES IN HYDE PARK…
…whilst waiting unpatiently for the World championships finals and the Wimbledon finals to start. I actually betted a few pounds on France before the championship started, so I go by the name The Gambler these days…
QUOTE OF THE DAY
“Everybody always asks if you have a career, if you’re married, if you have children. Like if life was some kind of grocery list, but no one ever asks us if we are happy…”
A NICE LITTLE BREAK
Today’s morning coffee in Little Venice… Our “dog” King, have faithfully guarded the door for about five years now. And I decided it was about time to wear that orange dress because you only live once…
MY FAVOURITE NAIL POLISH COLOUR AT THE MOMENT
When you’re on the train and you look down on your feet and realise that your outfit is actually pretty crazy…
THESE ARE THE DAYS…
There I am, in the middle of the meadow pulling our boat in, and one day when I’m old and grey, I’m going to look back on this and think, «I had the time of my life.»
We’ve written a lot of scripts, my Mac and I, and more will come… When my boyfriend’s kids are snoring in the morning, I tip toe out on deck, with a cup of fresh coffee, and start writing. Trying to get the most out of the summer mornings. BTW, do you see the train passing on the bridge?
WHEN YOU JUST HAVE TO SHARE A MOMENT…
All those hard winters? Totally worth it… Just had to share this moment with you. This is what London can be like too… #bigcityliving
BTW, who needs a selfie-stick when you’ve got really long arms ; )
MY WALK-IN CLOSET
I think most people have this idéa that living on a houseboat will teach you that you don’t need anything, that life is so simple and balanced when you become one with the canal, that things are materialistic nonsense, that everything you need is a little diesel on the tank and a peaceful tree to moor by. I’m sure that this is the truth for a lot of people, but I’m just as happy about my clothes, the TV and my things as I was before, and best of all is that I’m on board with a man who gets me. That’s why he built me a little walk-in closet. That’s what I call love!
SUNNY DAYS ON THE GRAND UNION CANAL
Life is full of surprises…. I used to have a six-pack, now I have a family on a boat in London ; )
ON EVERY BEAT
I’ve been waiting for this. A day in the sun. The hat, the bikini, the sun glasses… a cold beer and great company. One of those days that turn into great memories.
